The Community Health Center of West Palm Beach (CHCWPB) began as an outreach ministry of the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach February 22, 2000.  In October 2008, the CHC became an independent 501 (c)3 non-profit community based health center. 

The mission has not changed, however, the ability to impact the community has grown immensely.  The CHCWPB now operates in a new location and state-of-the-art facility.  With nine years of experience ministering to the community through health care, the CHCWPB , offers quality medical services, eye care, and dentistry to individuals who are uninsured, underinsured, at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. 

Volunteering

The Community Health Center could not exist and operate without faithful volunteers.

Volunteers are always needed in the following areas:

·         Medical personnel, doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists

·         Optometrists, pharmacists, specialists

·        Clerical assistants and data entry

·         Prayer partners and counselors
